We drove to Chena Hot Springs on Tuesday afternoon. It is about an hour and a half drive from where we are at. We went to the Ice Hotel that they have there. We had fun looking at all the nifty things that have been made out of ice.
Above is one of the ice carvers, it is a husband and wife team that does all the carving.

They have four hotel-like rooms within that you can actually pay money to sleep in 40 below weather. No thanks.

Michael and I have definitely enjoyed some time together this week. Thanks to Grandma Case for keeping our little booger! :)
The polar bear room was cute! This is definitely an adventure I would like to TRY! Not saying I could make it all night in a room that cold but it would be fun to try! :)
