I LOVE COUPONS!!!

Some people may look at that title and automatically think that I am a weirdo. I'm okay with that because I just went to my most favorite grocery store and bought all of this...

Look closely. I bought 9 bottles of deodorant, 4 soups, 3 juices, 3 salad bags, 2 packages of plates, 2 boxes of Thermacare, 2 boxes of Advil. etc. etc. etc. 35 different items!

At regular price, I would have paid $120.30.

But with sales and coupons I paid...

$26.22

Don't believe me?

I started using coupons 2 years ago and I am hooked! It is so fun to go shopping and fill my cart FULL and pay only a fraction of the cost.

Wouldn't you like to learn how to save bundles on your groceries as well?

Several ladies have asked me "HOW?" Well, it's not something I, or anyone else for that matter, can explain within 5 minutes. The best thing is to attend a Coupon Workshop.

I have a sweet friend who has been teaching a coupon workshop and she has agreed to hold a class for me and anyone who wants to come!

The class will be held September 14th @ 7 pm
in the Landmark Baptist Village Chapel.
The class only costs $10!

Your time and class fee is an investment. A very worthy investment!

If you are interested in attending this class, catch me at Church, or message me on Facebook, or Email me!
Even if you already coupon, this is a great opportunity to get revitalized, and perhaps learn something new!

I hope to see you there!

Counting My Blessings!

I am one blessed wife and mommy!

I've not had to wash dishes in over a week!

My Husband and son have taken over my chores so that I can continue to rest in hopes that my back will heal quickly.

Michael does not like washing dishes AT ALL, but it has become a Father/Son activity and it is so cute to watch! Josiah ends up sopping wet and he LOVES it!

I am still having pain but it is SO much better than last week when I could barely walk! I am so excited to be able to go to church tonight! I just can't put it into words!

I want to share one more picture with you. Josiah has had a difficult time getting back into the grove of sleeping all night long. He has also been teething which complicates things. The other night when Josiah woke up in the middles of the night, Michael laid him on the couch to go back to sleep. When I woke up later around 3am I went to check on him, and this is what I found...

He was asleep standing up! It was the cutest thing! I just had to take a picture before I put him back up on the couch. He never even opened his eyes when I moved him! He is such a mess!

Looking forward to being in the Lord's House tonight!

Playing Catch Up

Or Ketchup as my Preacher would say! I wanted to do a combined post to update everyone on what has been going on the last few weeks.

The week following Kid's VBT, Michael lead the games for Teen VBT. They played 'Ganster Soccer' almost every night out in the field followed by indoor games before the preaching.

The preacher for the week was from Arkansas. I found out one afternoon while we were having lunch with him & his wife that they knew one of my good friends, April who moved to Arkansas two years ago! Small world, huh?

Teen week ended on Thursday, and Friday night the rest of Michael's family came to town. This was the first time in five years since the family has all been together! We spent Saturday playing games and visiting. Sunday was spent in the Lord's house and Monday was Family Pictures. Tuesday was a wonderful day spent at the Tanana Valley State Fair! It was so nice of the fair to be in town while we were in Alaska!

Josiah had his first ever pony ride! He loved the pony before and after the ride, but he wasn't so sure about being on top of him!

I was also blessed throughout our time in Alaska to be able to spend some quality girl time with my bestie, Sami!!! It was so nice to be able to talk face to face.

We said our goodbyes and flew out on Thursday afternoon and landed in Florida Friday morning. Where we promptly made our way home to our bed and crashed for a few hours. Sleep deprivation is so not cool.

Michael is currently finishing up a 3 day VBS in Citra, Fl. We decided that I would stay home with Josiah and try to recup from all the traveling. My back has been giving me fits again so Josiah has ended up with Nana. I think he is making up for the 3 weeks of not seeing her while we were in Alaska.

Overall, we had a wonderful trip! I just wish I could have brought some of that cooler weather back home with us! And all Floridians said, AMEN!!!

Our summer of travel is coming to a close. Thank you so much for 'following' and most importantly praying for the ministry the Lord has allowed us to have this Summer. Some exciting things will be happening in our Jr. Church this fall and I look forward to sharing it all with you along with updates on our family.

Happy Wednesday,

Joy
