Weekend @ Emmanuel Baptist Church!

Thank you to those who prayed for us this past weekend! We had a wonderful trip down to Ft. Myers and only had to turn around once! :)
Friday night we helped paint banners for their Kings Kids Fair.
Saturday morning was the fair. During the fair, Michael made balloons while I painted faces.
Josiah got to hang out with the Pastor's wife! He totally fell in love with her!
After the games Michael preached. One of the young girls accepted Christ as her Savior afterward!
Michael was also able to preach Sunday morning in their Jr. Church and also in the Sunday night service!
We truly had a wonderful time! Everyone fell in love with Josiah especially the kids! We had several 'babysitters'!
(Caleb & Josiah)
Sunday Morning we were in a meeting and 5yr old Caleb takes Josiah by the hand and leads him to the nursery. He turns around and says to me, "It's o.k. I'll watch him!" Too precious! Another young boy named Ethan also kept Josiah occupied by playing with him and keeping up with his cup. They were so young, but such big blessings to us by keeping Josiah playing and out of trouble.

Thank you so much for keeping us in your prayers!

A little bit of Leisure

Last week we took off to spend a few days beautiful North Georgia! We had a blast together as a family! Wednesday we went to Dauset Trails and had a nice little picnic before we walked around to look at all the animals.

Josiah really liked the goats! I wish I had a picture of the smile on Josiah's face when that goat started walking towards us.
Don't tell anyone, but he tried to feed the goat a piece of paper. You can blame that on his Daddy!

Thursday, we went to Amicalola Falls! Here is Daddy & Josiah at the base of the falls. If you look really close you can sorta see a little white speck right in the middle of the trees.

Here we are at the half-way point. We think this is the prettiest part of the falls. The cooler temperature makes you want to stay for a while and enjoy it.

Once, we reached the top Daddy and Josiah played in the river. Josiah enjoyed throwing rocks into the water and dipping his feet in it.

That night we roasted marshmallows... or should I say tried to. After Josiah had a much needed bath, Michael and I sat down to do our devotions, and the sweetest thing happened! Josiah went to our room and grabbed Daddy's New Testament and brought it back to the table. He then climbed up in his chair and started 'reading his devotions'! It brings a smile to my face just thinking about it!
Friday came way too soon! We spent the day cleaning, packing, and enjoying the outdoors as time allowed. I think Josiah misses running up and down the hill, I know I miss watching him do it.

If the Lord lays it on your heart, please pray for us this weekend. We leave tomorrow for a meeting in Ft. Myers. Lord allowing, we'll be driving back Sunday night after services.
