A Little Bit of Life and A House Update

When I was a teenager my family went to a restaurant and I ordered Blueberry Pork Chops. They were so yummy and I remember it after all this time. So I decided I'd try to make my own and this is how it looked.
It turned out well, but I did make a few notes of how to do it differently for next time. We also had 2x baked potatoes that had a bit of a kick to them (D'lish!) and some green beans that was supposed to be a salad. Am I the only one who has ever forgotten what they planned to go with a meal and then had to find something else to fix only to remember what it was you were going to fix AFTER you already opened that can of green beans?

Josiah pulled his train table all the way from inside his bedroom out into the living room just to get Daddy to play with him.
I love my guys!

So to update everyone on the house we are (LORD WILLING) going to be buying...

Some of you know that during the home inspection it was discovered that the a/c unit was no longer working. A few days later our mortgage company contacted us and said that they could not give us the loan until the a/c was in working order. We had someone go out and take a look at it to see what was wrong with it/ how much $ it would cost and all that. After we got that info our realtor then tried to contact the listing agent to see what could be done.

To make a long story short, the listing agent FINALLY got back with us all today after our mortgage lady (we had everyone calling her trying to get her to do her job) got in contact with them... again. They are sending out a repair man and he is supposed to have everything fixed by Friday. Then once its fixed we have to get the appraisal finished and a few other things. Our closing date is Wednesday of NEXT week. So, we have to have a lot of things done in a very small amount of time since we can not move forward with anything until the a/c is taken care of.

Our awesome mortgage lady is asking the listing agent to extend our closing date to Friday since this delay is not our fault. So we'll see what happens next week. We really would appreciate it if you all would join us in praying that things would get fixed quicker than expected and that there would be no delays with all this last minute paper work.
