We were so excited for our beach trip to finally get here! We left Saturday morning and headed to Long Boat Key! It was a decent trip. I don't do well with lots of traffic but my sweet husband survived my side seat driving. ha!
We showed up a little bit early so while we waited for our room we ate lunch and watched a manatee swim by. That was a wonderful start to our vacation! We spent the afternoon in the pool and ocean.
Before we headed to Sami's house for dinner we took a walk down the beach.

I think everyone should spend Sunday afternoon listening to the ocean waves. It was such a relaxing day.
Jo took a little nap before we headed back to the evening service...
She didn't quite get her nap out. haha!
We were hoping to make it back to our hotel that night to see the sunset but the rain had its own plans.
Although we didn't get to see the sunset watching a storm on the ocean was pretty cool too.
